The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) in partnership with Nimble Media are delighted to be delivering the first ever ‘Logistics and Transport Diversity Challenge’ event.
With over 300 participants attending, the first Logistics and Transport Diversity Challenge will bring together logistics and transport professionals to look at how we can tackle diversity collaboratively and collectively. The event also celebrates the Institute’s centenary year and their vision of improving diversity and equality across the profession.
The inaugural ‘Big Logistics and Transport Diversity Challenge’ will take place on 26th June 2019 at Newark Showground. The event consists of a series of fun practical and mental team challenges, set to demonstrate the importance of diversity within the Logistics and Transport sector, and the business benefits attained when companies improve diversity. It will be a fantastic opportunity to bring the entire profession together in an informal setting with many of the leading companies in attendance.
The event offers a perfect platform for industry to share best practice, network, team build and help shape what the profession should do next to support a more inclusive sector. The event will also help fundraise for Aspire; the charitable careers foundation within CILT which provides funded opportunities for education, training and development to UK and international applicants.
Anna Delvecchio, Commercial Account Director for Amey and Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (FCILT) said, “I am delighted to be working with Nimble Media and CILT leading and shaping the first ever event. Thank you to all the organisations who are participating in this year’s event and to the supporting partners.”
